Privacy policy

Cubes³ 3D game is published by Nicolas Gualtieri, the data controller (nicolas@gualtieri.fr). The game asks for no account, no email address, and no access to your photos, location, microphone or contacts.
What stays on your device
- Your settings (music, sound effects, language, character outfit) and your local records.
- A random identifier created the first time you use the leaderboard, which cannot identify you.
- The name you choose, and a copy of the game's news and configuration.
What is sent, and why
Only when you are online:
- Configuration and news: at launch, the game downloads a configuration file (versions, news). Nothing personal is sent.
- World leaderboard: for each game, the game sends the random identifier, your name, the country set on your device (not your location), your device type, the game version, your score and the sequence of moves of the game. These moves are used to check that scores are genuine, by replaying the best games. Your name, country, device type and score are visible to other players in the leaderboard.
This data is hosted in France by OVH, the game's server host. Like any web server, it keeps the IP address of connections in its technical logs; the game does not store it with your scores.
No ads, no tracking
The game contains no advertising, no analytics and no third-party tracking service. Your data is never sold, never shared with third parties, and never used to track you across apps.
Retention and deletion
- Scores and your name stay in the leaderboard for as long as it exists. Technical data of a game (game token) is deleted after two days. A score refused by the server is kept with its game, to understand why.
- To have your scores and name removed, write to nicolas@gualtieri.fr with the name shown in the game.
- Deleting the app removes everything stored on your device.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you can access, correct, erase or port your data, or object to its processing, by writing to nicolas@gualtieri.fr. You can also file a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr).
Children
The game is suitable for all ages and collects no data that could identify a child. We recommend not using your real name as your player name; offensive names are refused.
Changes
This policy may change along with the game. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
